Touristic places to visit

Casa Delser is an excellent starting point to reach with a 10 minutes drive the Vallevecchia Natural Reserve with its pine forest / pinewood and wildlife sanctuaries, and the beautiful and free access Brussa Beach, that stretches for about 5 KM. between Bibione and Caorle .

Lignano, Bibione and Caorle seaside resorts are just a few miles away, with fine sand beaches, golf courses, sailing and horseriding facilities, and many other attractions.

Just 10 minutes away is the charming historic town of Portogruaro, stretching out on the banks of the river Lemene. You can walk around the city center under the arcades of ancient buildings and noble palaces dating back to 1500, shopping or visiting the Roman Archaeological Museum. Thursday is market day.
The historical ancient Roman city of Iulia Concordia and the romanic basilicas of Summaga and Sesto al Reghena are in the immediate vicinity.

In the surrounding region you can visit many other interesting tourist and historical cities, such as Concordia and Aquileia roman cities, Trieste, Udine, Treviso, the wine routes of the Collio and Prosecco wines, the beautiful cities of Padua and Verona, Ferrara and Mantua – one or two hours away with the nearby A4 motorway.

Venice is just under one hour away by train, directly to the Canal Grande, or by car + ferry across the lagoon, leaving from Punta Sabbioni – Cavallino.

The Adriatic coastline is quite close, and can be reached in 10-15 minutes ; there are several well known seaside resorts like Bibione, Lignano and Caorle just a few miles away, with fine sand beaches, golf courses, sailing and horseriding facilities, and many other attractions.

We stayed at casa Delser in the second week of august. It was great to be there. A calme and nice atmosphere, spacious rooms with airconditioning and the whole area was set up with dedication. We applied for the continentel breakfast, and every morning was a new surprise and exhausting. Great. Marieclaire who runs the daily stuff, is very gentle, speaks italian, french, english and some german as well, and updates you with all the possibilities in the environment, like cities to visit (also triest, udine and all kinds of local villages) and also points you to restaurants, based on your appetite. In one word " superbe".
